Michael Seidman, M.D., Director

Dr. Seidman is considered an expert on the molecular basis of aging, noise induced hearing loss, otologic/neurotologic-skull base surgery, tinnitus, nutrition/antioxidants and their relationship to health and aging, and herbal therapies. He lectures around the world on such topics and has more than 75 major publications. He has been awarded a U.S. patent on a supplement that is beneficial against age-related hearing loss. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan.
 

Beth Kohn

Beth Kohn earned her Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine through the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of California, and nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology . During her training, Beth treated patients at San Diego Hospice as well as patients serviced through the First Lutheran Church clinic. After working with patients in her private practice, she relocated to Manhattan New York to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Center. While in New York, she received additional training in Acupuncture for the treatment of addiction at the Lincoln Recovery Center in the Bronx, NY. She was also a volunteer providing acupuncture care to the FEMA workers during the 9-11 rescue and recovery efforts.

Beth enjoys educating and working with patients to help them achieve wellness.  She uses Traditional Oriental Medicine to help patients with a variety of health concerns such as women’s health issues (menstruation, infertility, menopause, etc), acute and chronic pain, digestive disorders and chronic diseases (hepatitis c, fibromyalgia, etc ).  



Kyrras Conrad, R.N., M.A., C.N.M.T., St. John Neuromuscular Therapist

She has a master's from the Norwich University in Holistic Health Counseling and Education and has national certification from the St. John Neuromuscular Pain Relief Institute. Her special medical interests include relief of chronic pain such as back pain, headaches, and shoulder and arm problems such as carpal tunnel; hip and knee problems and posture issues such as scoliosis, dowager's hump, and tilted hips and shoulders.



Donna May, MA., CHT

 

Donna has a master’s degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University and is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with the American Council of Hypnotists Examiners.  She is also a certified practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)and is trained in Reiki and the Yuen Method of energy healing.  She uses these methods to assist her patients with pain, smoking cessation, weight loss, stress management, preparation for surgery, and other issues.  She helps clients overcome unwanted  habits and behaviors, self-limiting beliefs, and reprogram themselves for successful outcomes.  She is a frequent speaker and a contributing columnist for Phenomenews and other holistic  health publications.

 

Dr. Lanny Orr, Chiropractor

Dr. Orr holds a Doctoral degree in Chiropractic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences. He has been in private practice for twelve years. He is currently completing a program for certification in Chiropractic Sports Medicine. His holistic approach includes treatment using spinal manipulation and soft tissue techniques along with education about lifestyle changes which will support long term healing of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Orr treats a variety of chronic conditions such as arthritis, low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder pain and chronic headaches. He has a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries in the young athlete.

 

Diane Urquhart, Massage Therapist

Diane completed her massage training and certification in Myomassology at Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, where she is now a faculty member.  She completed training in St John Neuromuscular Therapy and is also on the teaching staff of St. John Seminars.  She loves to help patients using St. John Neuromuscular Therapy® and other therapeutic modalities as needed to help them live a pain free life.  Diane is finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at Wayne State University.
