Henry Ford Presents Free Sports Concussion Seminar
DETROIT - Henry Ford Center for Athletic Medicine presents a free educational seminar on how to recognize sports concussion and what treatment options are available.
"Getting your Bell Rung: Concussions and Returning Your Athlete to Play" will be held 7 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Cranbrook Kingswood High School (Gordon Science Building) in Bloomfield Hills.
The information-packed evening is designed for parents, athletic directors, coaches, athletes and certified athletic trainers. Presenters include Nancy White, M.D., Henry Ford Sport Medicine specialist and team physician for Cranbrook High School; Darius Harrison, ATC, certified athletic trainer at Henry Ford Medical Center - Columbus Center in Novi and Cranbrook High School.
Parking is available in the 550 lot, on the north side of Lone Pine Rd., just east of Orchard Ridge Rd.
