DETROIT - Learn the latest insights about how people can make brain-healthy choices and lower their risk for Alzheimer's disease at a free lecture, 1-3 p.m., Thursday, March 19, at Henry Ford Hospital.
Andrea DiMuzzio, a registered nurse for over 25 years, who has cared for many persons with dementia including her mother and aunt, will be the speaker.
During the seminar, participants will:
Gain an understanding of how to live a brain-healthy lifestyle.
Understand what it means to maintain one's brain.
Learn what's good for the heart is good for the brain.
Understand that exercise and nutrition are important for your heart and your brain.
Challenge oneself by learning and experiencing new things.
The seminar takes place at Henry Ford Hospital, 2799 W. Grand Blvd, Room
E & R 2055.
