DETROIT - Injuries happen. But you don't have to be sidelined.

Henry Ford Hospital's Center for Athletic Medicine is offering a free seminar to help "weekend warriors" and parents of high school athletes learn more about how to enhance performance as well as how to prevent and treat sports-related injuries, from knee to shoulder.

Henry Ford's sports medicine surgeons, Henry Goitz, M.D., and Brian Rill, M.D., will answer questions and offer advice during the evening event, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 31 at Henry Ford Medical Center - Lakeside, 14500 Hall Road (M-59) in Sterling Heights.

The seminar is geared for all sports to help athletes improve athletic performance and decrease risk of injury.
