The Urology Residency Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The program was reviewed in March 2008 by the ACGME and was awarded a 5 year accreditation with no citations.
Two positions are offered in each year of the program. The four-year program integrates the clinical, research, and teaching facilities at Henry Ford Hospital, Children's Hospital of Michigan, and the John Dingell VA Hospital.
Satisfactory completion of one year of training in the Henry Ford Hospital General Surgery Residency Program is required for acceptance into the Urology program. We participate in the American Urological Association match program and use the ERAS application process.
