Escara

Definicion:

Escara se refiere a tejido muerto que se desprende de la piel sana y es causada por una quemadura o cauterizacion . Un escarotico es una sustancia, como los acidos, los alcalis, el dioxido de carbono o las sales metalicas, que hacen que el tejido muera y se desprenda.
