Caring for children is a top priority at Henry Ford. Since 1927, our concern for children with special health care needs has been a central focus for the pediatricians who devote themselves to caring for children with congenital and chronic disease.
Today, more than 150 Henry Ford doctors provide care to children in medical centers and hospitals throughout southeast Michigan. From asthma and allergy to neurology to health transplant to urology, our pediatricians are able to handle the unique and special medical concerns of children as well as provide high quality primary care.
Henry Ford physicians have nearly 300,000 visits from patients each year, providing them with a broad experience in children's health. Besides providing health services, our pediatricians work to educate the child and the parents about what it takes to live a healthy life and what they can do to live happy, healthy and productive lives.
