Visiting Hours Visiting hours for Henry Ford Cottage Hospital in the general medical and surgical rooms are generally open most days. We do caution family and friends to keep the number of visitors to a reasonable number and to respect the quiet time needed by patients. Staff may ask visitors to leave, particularly when the patient's medical needs must be addressed.
Visiting hours for the Rehabilitation area of Henry Ford Cottage Hospital are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on most days. Families are encouraged to come early to participate in activities of daily living therapy.
Visiting hours for the mental health unit are as follows. Children under age 14 may visit with special written permission from the psychiatrist, which must be obtained prior to the children coming to the hospital.
Tuesdays: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursdays: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturdays: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Sundays: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Holidays: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
