The Longitudinal Advance Pharmacy Practice (LAPP) program allows Wayne State University students to complete most of their fourth year experiential rotations at Henry Ford Hospital. The Henry Ford Hospital LAPP program was initiated in 2001. To date, over 30 WSU students have completed the program.

Core Rotations are offered in the following areas:
Hospital Practice Orientation, Ambulatory Care, Community Pharmacy
Cardiac ICU, Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Hemodialysis, Investigational Drug Service, Nutrition Support, Transplantation, Drug Information, Infectious Disease Consult Service
Other opportunities for students:
Drafting and presentation of a formulary monograph at a formulary committee meeting
Participation in monthly Case Conference and Interest Group
Involvement in a research or practice-based project is strongly encouraged
