The Department of Medicine at Henry Ford is the largest clinical department in the health system, with more than 300 phyisicians providing care to more than 2 million patients each year in locations throughout southeast Michigan.
Physicians in this department provide general primary care to adults and also highly-specialized care for those adults suffering from heart disease, to cancer, to arthritis. The department also provides training to the next generation of physicians with more than 300 residents and fellows learning here from our staff of board-certified physicians.
