I specialize in general surgery and trauma and critical care surgery, with a special medical interest in resuscitation, nutrition and surgical endoscopy. I earned my medical degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, and I went on to complete my post-graduate training at Wayne State University (MI) in surgery and at the Mayo Clinic (MN) in surgical critical care.

I am board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Surgery: Critical Care.
