The audiologists at Henry Ford provide a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative services including:
Audiometric testing of all populations
Diagnostic auditory evoked potentials
Infant hearing screening
Hearing aid evaluation and dispensing
Dispensing of assistive listening devices
Cochlear implant candidacy determination and programming
Tinnitus evaluation and management.
Comprehensive balance function testing
Fall Prevention assessment
Each year, the division manages approximately 15,000 patient visits, including more than 8,500 audiometric evaluations, 900 auditory evoked potential examinations, and 400 balance function tests. In addition, staff members dispense nearly 4,000 hearing devices each year.
