The Henry Ford Referring Physician Office coordinates all your needs as a referring physician. We offer rapid physician to physician consultations. Services include: 

• Telephone consultations for outpatient or hospitalized patients
• Urgent and routine patient appointments
• Insurance verification and referral management
• Case presentation at multidisciplinary disease-specific case conferences
• Clinical Trials information
• Coordination of second opinions
• Continuing Medical Education
• Search for a Henry Ford physician by specialty or location
• Search for a specific service by service name or location

We also offer our community physicians and their patients help in accommodating their needs at Henry Ford by:

• Coordinating lodging for family, friends and patients
• Assisting with travel arrangements
• Offering interpreter services, both for the hearing-impaired and non-English speakers
• Providing cultural support
• Helping to obtain banking and financial services, particularly for those patients from outside of the United States.
